The Civilized Explorer Reno RV Page

Area Code -- The area code for Reno is 775.

We have no personal experience with RV stuff, but here is a list of businesses for your perusal. Note that several companies have stopped renting to burners due to folks returning RVs with trash and without cleaning. The companies that we know do not rent to burners are not listed here. The casino RV parks are clearly oriented toward gamblers, but do generally offer access to all the amenities. The other parks seem split between asphalt lots downtown and scenic, family parks towards the edge of town.

Rentals

All rental companies have additional deposits, cleaning fees, up-front payments etc. for Burning Man rentals.  Reserve early in the year.

El Monte RV has special Burning Man rentals starting at about $6000.  85 Gentry Way (888) 337-2214 From the airport, exit using E. Plumb Lane (it's the main exit) • go east on E. Plumb Lane about 0.6 mile • turn left onto S. Kietzke Lane • go 0.8 mile and turn left onto Gentry Way • it's 0.4 mile ahead on the right.   From  Rt. 395, take Exit 64, Moana Lane • go west on E. Moana Lane  0.4 mile • turn right onto Yori Ave • take the first left (Gentry) and it's 2 blocks down.

Classic Adventures RV Rentals is Burner friendly and are also very close to the airport.  Reserve before the end of March to ensure success.  They offer 2 packages; both provide bicycles - they deliver the RV to the playa in the pricier option. Open Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. They are closed on Sunday. 825-1200 or 866-825-8141 2802 S. Kietzke Lane From the airport, exit using E. Plumb Lane (it's the main exit) • go east on E. Plumb Lane about 0.6 mile • turn left onto S.
